Important Reminders:

• All Student Forms (Emergency Medical, Authorization Form, Driver Form, Etc.) are due to the school office ASAP
• Juniors & Seniors that signed up for the College & Career Fair on Oct. 22, please pick up a Permission Form from Mrs. Rosnick
• Wrestling and Esports Sign-ups are in the school office

 

 Advising Schedule is every Thursday

 -- The Advising Meeting Schedule has been shared with all students through their school email.  Please refer to the Google Sheet for scheduled weekly meetings. 

 

Oct. 8 -- OU Athens College trip - YES Program/Sandy Doudna/Mrs. Russell's College & Career Class.

                  (Bus leaves MCHS at 7:30 AM)  

Oct. 13 -- FAFSA Night @ MCHS in Miss Vinskovich's room 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Oct. 14 -- Fall ACT (grades 9-12 for those who signed up). Students taking the test need to report to school by 8:15 AM.  Test will be in the Aux Gym.

Oct. 17 -- 2-hr Early Dismissal

                  End of 1st Grading Period

Oct. 18 -- Halloween in the Village @ MCHS 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Oct. 20 -- NO SCHOOL

Oct. 21 -- 2nd Grading Period Begins.

                  Adventure Club Trip to Laurel Caverns

Oct. 22 -- College & Career Fair Field Trip @ Highlands Sporting Complex

Oct. 23 -- Soccer Banquet @ MCHS cafeteria  5-8pm

Oct. 24 -- Report Cards

Oct. 30 -- Jostens visit w/ Seniors about Graduation (12:14 PM in cafe) and Sophomores about Class Rings (12:45 PM in cafe)

Nov. 2 -- Daylight Saving Time Ends (Turn clocks back)

Nov. 4 -- Americanism Test for Grades 10,11,12) - will be given during 1st period class

Nov. 5 -- Picture Retakes

Nov. 6 -- Jostens Class Ring and Graduation Orders Deadline

Nov. 7 -- University of Rio Grande rep visit

                  Veterans Day Assembly 1:00 PM in cafe

Nov. 10 -- 2-hr Early Dismissal

                  Parent/Teacher Conferences 2pm - 7pm (call a week before to schedule)

Nov. 11 -- Veterans Day -- NO SCHOOL

Nov. 20 -- Jostens visit w/ Sophomores during lunches

Feb. 24 -- FREE ACT for Juniors only (Juniors need to report to school by 8:15 am.  Test will be in the Aux Gym)

March 10 -- Spring District ACT (Grades 9, 10, 11)

March 13 -- 2-hr Early Dismissal

March 16 -- 4th Grading Period Begins

March 3 - April 6 -- Spring Break -- NO SCHOOL

April 25 -- Prom @ Grizer Castle in Whipple, Ohio from 6-10pm

May 22 -- Graduation 6:00pm @ MCHS

May 25 -- Memorial Day -- NO SCHOOL
