CTE pathway expansion
Swiss Hills Career Center is excited about the growth in several of our programs. Our sophomore academy currently serves 28 students and provides students who are interested in Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways the opportunity to get an early start. Students who take advantage of the program will have expanded opportunities for more CTE classes and certifications or job placement during their senior year.
The Auto Technology program has 31 students and will be expanding from one to two instructors. Expansion will provide students with the opportunity to pursue certification in diesel mechanics.
The welding program currently serves 29 students. Participants gain valuable experience and certification that can be put to work on the job during their senior year.
All Swiss Hills programs, led by our talented staff, provide quality educational opportunities for students that will prepare them for ever-changing workforce requirements. It’s exciting to see the growth in the interest in CTE programs as we help develop students for success in their future careers.
