Senior receives prestigious state-wide award

Congratulations

Congratulations to senior Kate Dotterer, who has been selected as the district’s Franklin B. Walter award recipient. Each of the 88 counties in Ohio selects one student for this award, and Kate was our recipient for this highly prestigious award. 

This award was established by Ohio’s educational services in 1989 and named after former state superintendent, Franklin B. Walter. This award celebrates outstanding scholarship and achievements of one student from each county in the state, and brings them together to recognize these achievements. 

Congratulations to Kate on receiving this incredible award. The ceremony was scheduled for April 27, 2020, but will likely be rescheduled due to the current situation.
