Switzerland of Ohio Local School District has partnered with Southeast Healthcare to provide counseling services for students. The district currently has two full-time counselors:
Rebekah McVey

Rebekah provides counseling support to students at Powhatan Elementary School, River Elementary and High Schools, and Swiss Hills Career Center.
Chanda Paczewski

Chanda provides counseling support to students at Beallesville School, Monroe Central High School, Skyvue Elementary School, and Woodsfield Elementary School.

Telehealth Pilot
SOLSD is partnering with the State of Ohio and Southeast Healthcare to increase access to counseling and therapy services. On March 9, Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced that the state would fund $1 million to improve broadband infratructure at SOLSD buildings.
This infrastructure upgrade will allow our counselors to meet virtually with students in any building with only a few moments notice. Much of the work occurred over the summer of 2020, but the pilot should be in full swing by December.
